The CCDP program is a family-oriented health program. It is designed to lower the risk of type 2 diabetes in young people, age 9-12. The program serves the African-American Community served by and surrounding the University of Chicago.
     
  Learn with other kids fun ways to eat good-for-you foods.  
  Learn how to have fun being more active.  
  Learn how to be healthy, strong, and feel good.  
 
Reach In
Reach in is a small-group program. It is held every six weeks over two years. Children and their families work together to learn about healthy nutrition and exercises. Families learn how o include nutrition and exercise in their lifestyle during the long-term.
 
Reach Out

Reach out is a similar program held over a two year time period. Families meet for 14 weekly sessions followed by monthly update sessions
