Development and Behavior Assesment

Gross motor : rolls, crawls, gets to sitting, pull to stand.
Fine motor: bangs 2 cubes held in hands , picks up small things using thumb and index fingers.
Language and communication: jabbers, start to call dad or mom specifically.
Cognitive: anxious with strangers, looks at books.
Personal and social:
waves bye-bye, indicates wants by gestures and sounds, claps your hands.
Visionand hearing:follow objects from near to far and back to near again, can see smaller objects.

Falls and drowning: no walker, stairs with gates, watch for rolling and falling, never leave baby alone in or near a bath tab, pool safety
Burns: water temp<120 oF , outlet covers, not drink hot liquids or smoke cigarettes when holding babies, watch for iron.
Cut and straggle: no small and sharp objects or plastic bags near baby, toy safety, no necklace.
