This year, the residents of Thurlow St. had 2 block parties. The first one on July 8 th and the second one on August 5. At 3:00, they blocked off the street. Also, a fire truck and ambulance arrived. All the children and adults had plenty of activities during the party such as playing with a pinata, doing the limbo, there was also face painting, dancing, music, grilling, and the children could participate in a bike and scooter parade. The food was fantastic, too. Every family brought snacks, fruits, drinks, desserts, fish, and meats to grill. After dinner, a fire pit was started. The party didn’t end until 11:00 PM. Everybody got to know each other better and meet new friends.
